Just about every adult would love the ability to concentrate more easily, focus and have the energy to be more productive in life. Great news, essential oils can make a great impact and are natural productivity boosters to help you get more done in less time.
We have listed five essential oils that you can use to naturally enhance your focus and draw more energy so you can get more done at work or at home. All offer the benefits of greater focus without the side effects of ‘energy stimulants’.
Hawaiian Sandalwood has a rich, sweet, woody aroma that instills calmness and well-being. Hawaiian Sandalwood promotes healthy-looking, smooth skin and reduces the appearance of skin imperfections. It enhances the mood and is frequently used in meditation for its grounding and uplifting properties.
Wild Orange (Citrus sinensis)
Wild Orange is a cold pressed oil from the peel. This oil is extremely popular due to it’s energizing aroma. It can also be used as a cleanser and a purifying agent. It posses several antioxidants, which many cite to help to uplift the mind and body. Wild Orange enhances any essential oil blend with a fresh, sweet, refreshing aroma.
Grapefruit (Citrus X paradisi)
Grapefruit essential oil fills the space by providing an uplifting environment due to its invigorating and energizing aroma. It also acts as a purifying agent when added to a skin care routine. Bergamot oil is one of our staff favorites. We diffuse this at work and it naturally helps to provide a calming and soothing aroma for all who breathe it in. Bergamot gives you a Citrus spice smell with a strong floral note. We just add three or four drops to a diffuser and it does its magic. Bergamot has been very popular in the Mediterranean. It is uplifting, calming and helps the sad go away. We love it.
Citrus Bliss (Invigorating Blend) *** Staff Winner
Citrus Bliss is by far our staff’s favorite essential oil! This is the true power broker as it merges the benefits of citrus essential oils. It’s combined with the essence of the Wild Orange, Lemon, Grapefruit, Mandarin, Bergamot, Tangerine and Clementine and some of the staff cited they could detect a hint of Vanilla in the air. The staff used this in the following ways:
- 2 to 3 drops diffused filled the room
- 1 drop on the wrist to lift mood
- 2-3 drops on dryer sheets to boost the fresh smell of laundry
- Aromatouch therapy hand massage
