Always Perfect Pie Crust
Who out there kills pie crust? Raise your hand. Want a solution? Here it is.
I’ve never been able to make a flaky, not tough pie crust. I’ve even failed “no-fail” pie crusts. I don’t know what it is.
So, I just accepted the fact that I couldn’t make pie crust. I resorted to buying them. That is, until I found THIS recipe.
You can seriously work and work and work this dough and it always bakes up flaky and tender. How? I have no idea. It just does.
The “crustos” in this picture were made from the leftover dough from making peach pie. It had been rolled out a couple times already. Look how flaky it still turned out. Get a load of those layers!
