Chia Seed Pudding
Remember our post a while back on the health benefits of chia seeds? Read it here if you haven’t already or if you need a refresher.
Did you read it? Good. Now that you know all about chia seeds and why you need to start incorporating them into your diet, you need some pretty darn good recipes to make yourself eat them, right? Today we have one for you.
Chia seed pudding. It’s super easy and quick to make. Some have described it as tasting similar to tapioca pudding. It makes a very healthy and satisfying snack or on-the-go breakfast. You can make it in a half-pint jar and drink it at work.
You can even add fresh or frozen fruit to it. Or nuts. Or cinnamon. Or…you get the idea.
- 1 cup milk (almond*, rice, cow, whatever you want)
- 1/4 cup chia seeds*
- 2 T pure maple syrup* or honey*
- 1/2 tsp vanilla*
