Kids Cooking Class Series

Introducing our Kids Cooking Class series from Kitchen Kneads! Perfect for budding young chefs, this hands-on culinary experience is designed to inspire creativity and cultivate a love for cooking in children. Led by our expert instructors, each session is a hands-on experience where children learn essential kitchen skills, explore a variety of recipes, and dive into diverse cuisines. From baking scrumptious treats to crafting savory delights, every class is a blend of fun, learning, and delicious rewards.

More Than Cooking

Our Cooking classes offer children a valuable opportunity to develop a wide range of skills that extend far beyond the kitchen. Through these classes, kids will learn the importance of kitchen safety, including proper handling of utensils, appliances, and hot surfaces. They will also gain knowledge in proper food handling techniques to prevent contamination and ensure food safety and the fundamentals of food preparation, such as cutting, chopping, and mixing ingredients. 

Cooking classes also emphasize etiquette and manners, teaching children the importance of cleanliness, organization, and respect for others in the kitchen. Attendees will have the chance to explore baking techniques, including measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and mastering the art of baking delicious treats.

Week 1: Cookies/June 10 & 12

Tuesday Class

Get ready to bake up some sweet magic in our S’mores Cookie Creations class! This hands-on cooking adventure is perfect for kids who love to mix, bake, and, of course, eat delicious treats! In this class, we’ll combine the classic flavors of s’mores—chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers—into a cookie form that’s even better than the campfire original.

Kids will learn how to measure ingredients, mix dough, and create the ultimate gooey, crispy s’mores cookies! By the end of the class, everyone will have a batch of scrumptious cookies to share (or keep for themselves!). So, grab your apron and get ready for a deliciously fun time in the kitchen!

Thursday Class

Calling all little bakers! Join us for a fun-filled class where we’ll create the perfect combination of peanut butter and chocolate in our Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies! This class is designed for kids who love mixing, measuring, and of course, tasting, this is the perfect class for you.

Kids will learn how to make soft, chewy peanut butter cookies, then top them off with a delicious chocolate kiss for the perfect sweet treat. It’s a simple yet fun recipe that’ll make everyone feel like a baking pro! By the end of class, each child will have a batch of Peanut Butter Blossom cookies to share with family or enjoy all by themselves!
