Charity will teach about starter. They will learn how to mix up a loaf by hand, and do stretch and folds with them several times in the class. They will also learn how to put inclusions into their loaf to flavor it. She’ll DEMONSTRATE what to do after it finishes bulk fermentation to shape it and bake it. I’ll bake a (different) loaf there, and have a couple flavors they can taste in class. She’ll give them ideas of how to bake it if they don’t have a Dutch oven. They’ll go home with their bowl of dough, a razor blade to score it, a small amount of rice flour, a small amount of starter, Students bread will not be baked in class they will take it home and finish fermentation and baking at home.
