Cake Batter French Toast
Cake batter french toast topped with a glaze. It’s a fun spin on the old classic and would be an excellent choice for a special birthday breakfast.
We’ve found that using homemade bread for french toast works best because it’s more dense. Store-bought bread tends to soak up too much of the egg/milk mixture, resulting in a soggy middle. Most bakery breads are dense enough and will work well too.
