When October comes around and everyone is on a pumpkin spice kick. I’m over here on a caramel kick. I’m always searching for caramel knacks and finding new and exciting recipes like Caramel Apple Cider. And without fail, I have to have a caramel apple every year. What is the Halloween season without one?
Here are some of our awesome tips, tricks, and overall caramel knacks!
- Caramel’s melting point is 150-170F.
- The blocks we sell can be melted on the stove, in the oven, in the microwave, or in a slow cooker. (We prefer a small slow cooker!)
- Store your caramel in an air-tight container in a cool, dry place. DON’T put in the fridge or freezer!
We love Peter’s Caramel Blocks and Heavenly Caramels Blocks, they are a beautiful caramel perfect for all your recipes.
Peter’s Caramel is a tried and true caramel block. Silky and smooth with buttery perfection.
Heavenly Caramels caramel is still cooked in small batch kettles, by caramelizing the butter, milk and cream. This cooking process of caramelizing the ingredients is what creates a rich, smooth, creamy caramel. Made locally here in Ogden, UT!
We have several Gourmet Caramel Apple Classes, and an awesome Caramel Sale throughout the month of October! Check them out before they’re gone.
